ABOUT US

The AEM Foundation will establish a school of young musicians by teaching at risk youth the basic elements of music. This includes but is not limited to definitions, music symbols, rhythm, musical expression, performance in various styles of music (classical, jazz, Latin jazz, gospel, Rhythm and Blues, Pop, Funk, Blues, Hip Hop), music history, music creativity through performance, daily routines for practicing,

composition and arranging. The youth will be given private lessons by world class musicians on their performance instruments that will be paid from donations received. Students will utilize music industry software and computer technology which will afford them the ability to excel in their chosen fields of interest later in life.

These young musicians will also learn how to interact and give back to the community through charity performances. Our youth will be provided with  beginning musical instruments purchased through donations made to the organization. Youth who excel will be given scholarships to continue their education and participate in international student exchange music programs. This will promote participation in the global village and afford young people who rarely have the opportunity to look beyond their small community to reach out and establish friendships worldwide.

The AEMF is a registered vendor in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) - Department of Defense Information Service -
